Position Summary
Achieve maximum sales profitability and growth by effectively selling and promoting the services that Icona provides.

Opportunity
You will operate as an independent sales associate requiring you to declare your own taxes & expenses.  Helping Icona increase its market share, and showing that you are passionate about both the company & the industry, will result in further opportunities.

Core Duties
Promote, sell & secure external sales from ‘new’ prospective clients through a consultative relationship-based approach.

Details of Duties:

  • Schedule appointments with key decision makers
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with prospective clients through networking, email, sales calls, etc.
  • Effectively generate new business for Icona by actively prospecting for new leads/clients.
  • Facilitate the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Congregate with our marketing and sales management to coordinate sales efforts & strategy.
  • Stay informed of Icona’s web applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

Reporting
You will be expected to report to the Business Director on a weekly basis.  There will be times where you will be expected to attend meetings regarding sales, marketing and other promotional matters.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a proven track record in business-to-business sales.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for  customers.
  • Must be driven, results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent Customer Service skills
  • Must possess excellent Organizational Skills
  • Experience in the marketing and/or advertising an asset
  • Must have a personal vehicle to meet with prospective clients.
